When I tried powering on my VM i got this error message on VM server 2.0:
| You have started VMware Server with an out-of-date copy of the application. VMware Server cannot power on virtual machines using this copy (version 2.0.1). To power on this virtual machine, run VMware Server from the default location. |
I fixed the problem by removing the VM entry from the list and re-adding it back to the list. There was no need to delete the image and re-create or reinstalling VMWare. Hope this helps anyone else with the same problem.
